Manufacturer of Customer, Precision Components Gets Enhanced Online Presence
CHARLOTTE, NC – January 27, 2026 – Compass Precision announced Tuesday it has launched a new website for one of its latest company acquisitions – Pocasset Machine.
The parent company invested countless hours in developing the new website, laying it out in a clear and concise manner to help customers understand Pocasset’s capabilities and assist the company in its growth.
Compass has also added information about Pocasset Machine to its own website.
“This new media presence with Pocasset’s standalone website and the cross-promoting we’re doing on the Compass website is going to tremendously help Pocasset Machine and its nine sister companies,” VP of Sales and Marketing Jim Miller said. “It will let our customers know that Pocasset serves a unique niche in the market place, which is oceanographic and autonomous vehicle sectors.
“Just getting that information out there through Compass and the different platforms we have should open up new avenues, hopefully for new customers, markets and industries.”
The Compass marketing team, which Jim has led since his promotion on Jan. 1, created the new website based on the previous web presence Pocasset possessed. The new website includes updated photos, equipment lists, a management team page, career opportunities and Compass branding.
“Taking on the responsibility of designing or re-designing an operating company’s website has been part of pretty much all of our acquisitions,” said Compass Precision chairman Gary Holcomb. “It’s kind of a microcosm for how we go about acclimating their business to Compass.
“We find ways to improve upon the websites and make them our own all the while allowing the websites to maintain the unique styles that make them stand out in the first place.
All 10 of Compass’ operating companies have their own websites. Compass Precision also has its own online presence that it launched through a website with its founding in 2019.
Compass has a webpage devoted to each company. The Pocasset webpage went live toward the end of 2025.
The parent company routinely updates all of its websites to ensure it conveys updated information to both new and existing customers.
Compass officially acquired Pocasset Machine on July 21. Compass also purchased Trutron Corporation in November as a second acquisition in 2025.
The Trutron website is currently undergoing the same process that the Pocasset website just completed.
